Title: GRACEFUL XIII

This original painting, GRACEFUL XIII is an abstract figurative portrait of a woman in a contemporary expressionist style. This one of a kind painting is full of color expression, with fauve and cubist influences. It is a beautiful and unique piece of art that is sure to be a conversation starter.

In my figure study paintings I explore the female form. They are narrative expressive pieces in which i have combined abstraction with a woman's body in an expressive pose. The female body expresses mood or emotion without the definition of the facial features. The abstraction of the facial features is left to the imagination of the viewer. The language of the piece is that this anonymous woman can be, well, any woman. And it recognizes the emotion and beauty of a woman.

Shattering both artistic and societal norms, Venus' vibrant nudes defy conventional, sexualized portrayals. Her subjects, veiled in carefully placed bursts of color, express a spectrum of feminine emotions, seemingly oblivious to their own nudity.
By stripping away overt sexuality, Venus reveals the essence of femininity: the raw beauty, vulnerability, and emotional depth of women. Her art evokes wonder and awe, prompting viewers to celebrate women not just as objects of desire, but as complex individuals.
This is not mere objectification; it's a celebration. Venus elevates the female form beyond the male gaze, instead honoring the woman as both subject and artist. Each piece evokes wonder and awe, reminding us of the multifaceted beauty inherent in every woman's being.
